Wednesday, January 18, 2006 Hi guys, i'm back to school again... going to the end of my third week of school... things are fine over in the school except for the first 2 week of ADD_ DROP week... It's the worst part of school.
Let me explain for those who are not familiar with the way things work out over at NTU. First we have to put down the modules we want ot take in the waiting list where the com will do the selection for who will get the module...!!! (Wat the heck are they letting the computer to determine our future.. letting them to make decision for us!!!???) During the ADD_ Drop week, u'll see student rushing to the lib to see if there are any vacancy for the modules they want.... For me, i "tried out " quite a few modules, puzzle in human language, Children's adventure, sex, death and other social process.. Finally, i found wat i want: Intro in HR management and Phy of sports... The first one is quite interesting, the latter is boring me to death as it talks mainly of wat i have learnt: Kinetmatics... Well, now, i'm in the lib killing time.. Printing notes and bloggind, listening to online music.... WU KE QUN and Kang Kang are my favourite for the time being... HAHA.. for those who know me well enough will know that i'm a "3 min hottness" person.... I'm meeting Yinru, Yinru's Bf and Wendy this Sat for dinner... Sort of the first meeting with Yinru's BF ... I suggusted to go over to Parkway for dinner... Time for Good food recommendation again.... the "MINI restuarant" is named Cha Chan Tang(At Blk 81 of Marine Parade...) It's operated by i think siblings from Hong Kong, They serve all the Hong Kong food u can find in HK.... Iwent there last Sunday with my family... It has a attention seeking, yellow signboard which u can see along the main road.. My family ordered Veg with beef, Steamed garlie prawns and the hot and spicy squid... All of them taste so good that i told my family that i want to patronise this shop every Sun... Haha.. I dont eat beef one, but then their beef slice is so tender and no beef taste.. the gravy so unique for the veg and the steamed prawnt hat my mum dont even noe wat they used.... the squid was the best.. crispy flour skin, spicy, tender squid, not too saltly... a DIE DIE MUST TRY DISH.... We also order drinks like ying Yang (milk tea and coffee) and lemon Ribina.... so good... All of u should go and try... It's cheap also.. they served food enough for 4 person with rice, the dishes i mentioned earlier on and soup (corn and pumpkin-- my mum is trying to cook it next week..) , guess wat... they only cost $28... lots of beef slice and 19 fresh steam prawns.... Cant wait to try out the other dishes this Sat.... Ok.. gtg now... Need to go fro my Phy of Sports lec... Till next time... I'll recommend any good food again... Cya guys... Miss all of u.... Yuen signing off..... Frezzing in the Library... |
