To all my readers...

Check this out

He's Bryan... RSP Elders coordinator....

Well, I nominated him for this competition because he has the best complexion among all my guy friends... and I believe he's the only one who will not be angry if he finds out about this nomination.... hahahhaha... i guess he will probably thanks me if he wins that S$2000 worth of Clique products.... He probably will not need it any of those products since he already got such good skin... his skin is almost flawless... i have never seen pimple or any form of dots on his face... serious... i always wondered if he uses bird nest to wash his face or do facial mask every night... hahahha...

So dun wait any longer... vote for him now... (p.s. cos i wanna "cope " his prize)... lol

They only allow one vote per day per computer... so for those who has access to numerous computer... make full use of them to vote.... hehhehee ^-^

My current favourite singer...

Justin Lo

Justin Lo.... one real talented singer cum composer....

A little biobilography abt Justin Lo:

Lo (aka Teen, his romanized Chinese name, which is the romanization of his English name, Justin) was born in New York and moved with his parents to Hong Kong when he was two years old. While in Hong Kong, he studied at St Paul's Co-educational Primary School and St. Paul's Co-educational College. In 1989, Lo moved to Seattle, Washington, in the United States to further his studies. He spent two years in the University of Washington and finished his degree in Graphics Design at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island in 1999. After graduation, he worked as a web designer at Yahoo! in Sunnyvale, California.

Lo grew up in a family where music has always played an important role. His uncle, Ted Lo, is a famous music arranger and record producer in Hong Kong. In addition, the singer song writer was a member in the Hong Kong Children's Choir and he developed vast interest in music as he was growing up. In 1981, composer Joseph Koo Ka Fai invited Justin, aged 5 at the time, and his younger sister Roxane to sing in a commercial for Barbie.

Lo felt the work at Yahoo! was challenging and exciting but because his true love was creating music, he decided to move back to Hong Kong to pursue his dream. For a while Lo did some freelance design work while sending numerous demo tapes to record and label companies. In 2003, his uncle Ted Lo introduced him to Mark Lui, one of the most popular pop-composers and producers in Hong Kong. Recognizing the talent in Justin, Lui signed him to his music producing company On Your Mark Ltd and Lo officially began his musical career in Hong Kong. He produced the album Day & Night for Janice (衛蘭) and wrote two songs "大雄" and "傷追人" for Leo Ku.

In 2005, he performed in an a cappella section in Ku's Solid Gold Hits Concert. His outstanding performance was validated by Mr. Paco Wong from Gold Label Music Ltd. and Wong signed him up as a singer. His plugged songs "好人" (Good Person), "Erica", "命硬" (Hard Life) and "我有今日" (I Got It Going For Myself) (he wrote the latter three) received very positive responses. He is considered as one of the leading contenders of this year's New Male Artist Award.

I fell in love with his songs after i heard it on the show, 2 become 1.... It was a really touching song... and how he sang it with his deepest feeling..... i love the lyrics immediately... Justin Lo is really a young, talented singer who has true passoion for his music... he's kinda cute too....
Here's a song that I truely love... Enjoy.. ^-^

“A Song Per Day” by Justin Lo

Ooh whoa, ooh hey yeah ooh hey oh ooh
Every time when I’m thinking of you
I just don’t know what to do
Pinch myself when I’m dreaming of you
Making sure that you could love me too
How it slipped away, all my happy days

Though I’m acting cool, when I’m feeling blue
Just to show you that I’m through with you
While I never wanted to

How can a love so beautiful ever slip away
When I get to the place
I swear I’ll write you a song each and every day
Ooh God I’m missing you it’s driving me so insane
Standing all alone in pouring rain
Can’t explain, can’t explain all my pain…

Well, he was Mr Teo Ser Luck!!!!
He was there at Serangoon Garden Food Center having breakfast with his wife and 2 daughters... They seat one table from us... I was the first one to spot him in his t shirt and shorts... He looks younger than I thought.... Really fatherly person by the way he hang out with his daughters... He's really nice... he doesnt act like a "big-shot" despite his recent success for the YOG 2010 bid.... Very down to earth person... cool to see him having breakfast with his family at a hawker center.... cos i always thought that MPs will not be seen at hawker center during their "off-duty".... hahahha... kinda surprise to see him there... but he just smiled when he saw people looking at him..
He's such a great person... Way to go Mr Teo!!!! ^-^

Hahahaha.....

I was on ChannelNewsAsia 9pm news on tuesday night (11 Mar 2008)..... was a "care-leh-fare" for my boss...

managed to spot me??? hehehe...

Last friday, the CNA ppl came over to our office to interview our boss, Masa regarding the Sars detection kit that he invented... He was all gang chong for the whole morning.... we even help him to tidy up his office... sort of re-decorate his room to make it look more professional... things like my colleague's green plant and thick textbooks came in handy.... Then my boss spent another 2-3 hour reharseling his speech with us.... he was pretty open to our suggestions... first time lor.... hahahha... By the time the crew arrived, it was about lunch time... but boss told us to stay behind... didnt say y but we guess he wanted us to give him some moral support... hahaha...

Then after the interview, the cameraman wanted to take some dummy shots of our lab.... so boss ask us to act act in the lab... During the shot, we were pretty hyper... hahaha... first time on camera ma.... not really for me... cos last time i used to go for the pre-recording for different variety shows in mediacorp... Back to our dummy shots, we took out the flu detection kit and start to pipette solution here and there.... hahah.. transfer from the bottles to luminex plate then from well to well... hahhaa... we did well ok... except for boss who was pretty nervous and stiff.... we had a good laugh about it too...

After all the recording, boss treated us lunch for helping him to be his "care-leh-fares"... hahha... pretty good lunch.... maybe as the pay as "care-leh-fares".... hahaha

Fainting spell again... saddened..

My fainting spell came upon me yesterday evening when i was on my way to TM to catch a movie with my colleagues, Bao Yue & hui yi... Thanks god, they were there when it happened... i freaked them out pretty badly though.. thanks to u guys...

I was feeling as per normal when we board the train after work... it was pretty packed thus we got to stand at the connecting part of the mrt carriage..  we were happily chatting away from bouna vista to somewhere near payar lebar... then suddenly i felt tired, a little breathless(like  i had to put in extra effort to breathe) and had difficulties opening my eyes.. at that moment, i knew my fainting spell was coming.... Quickly told huiyi and baoyue that i wasnt feeling well and need to sit.. (by then i wasnt clear of what was happening ard me) but there were no seats available so i think baoyue told me to sit down on the floor.. well i did... after (i think) for 2-3 stations, i seat on the floor, i felt better and intended to stand up... as i stood up, someone left his/her seat(apparently cos she/he was alighting; not bcos she/he was giving up the seat for me) and i wanted to go over and take that seat.... the next moment i knew, bao yue was asking me if my head hurt... initially, i thot i was still sitting on the floor... but i wasnt ..... I fainted on the  floor... then ppl ard me started to move away (maybe to give me some space to breathe or they just wanna get away for all the trouble...).

with the help of baoyue and huiyi... i went over to the seat and there was these 2 kind auntie and uncle who offered me a bottle of medication oil and newspaper to fan me... so kind of them... by then i realised ppl were staring at me instead of  helping... baoyue was applying medication oil all over me and huiyi fanning me... by then i was was feeling lot better...

After everything.... we alighted at Tampines and while huiyi and baoyue excot me down, i started to see stars again... then i seat at stairs and bao yue bought me cup of coffee while huiyi went to get the movie tix... After 10 mins i felt ok le and we went ahead to get our LJS dinner.. While we waited for the dinner, hui yi and baoyue told me what happened earlier on(cos normally i cant remember wat exactly happened when i was abt to faint)...

according to Huiyi and baoyue... as i was standing up, i looked very pale and i starting to shiver and shake(as if i was going through a fit).. then i collapsed onto the floor... Both of them freaked out and after 10 sec i came around... The kind uncle almost pressed the emergency stop button for help and told baoyue and huiyi to bring me to the hospital.... woah... luckily he didnt.... cos normally after i faint... i just need to rest for about half an hour, i will be back to my normal self.... well... ya... i continued on with my movie date with baoyue and huiyi last night after my fainting spell... and even had LJS for my dinner...

Really glad that baoyue and huiyi were there with me when it happened... thanks to u guys again... This is definitely a memorable date for us... our first date somemore... hahaha... ^-^

My mum freaked out too after i told her abt my fainting... she knew about my condition but she is always worried cos my fainting spell will just come without any warning... well, for my condition.. it is not much of a problem to me as it only occurs once a year.. thanks god... i hope it will never come again... the feeling isnt great... and it brings unnecessary attention and worries for people around me... it has been almost 5 years since i last visit the cardio specialist who diagnose me with vasovagal syncope... should i see the doc again????

YueN signing off.... cooling morning..
