One day, a poor boy w ho was selling goods from door to door to pay hisway through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he washungry.He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a mealhe asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so broughthim a large glass of milk.

He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?""You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us neverto accept payment for a kindness." He said... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong too. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life.

From that day he gave special attention to the case.After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He lookedat it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of herlife to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught her attention on the side as she read these words....."Paid in full with one glass of milk." (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, GOD, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."

Did this story touch the innnermost of your heart? Well, it did touch mine. Many a times when people helped me, all I said at that moment was: "Thank You." However, deep in my heart, i'm grateful that u were there to give me a helping hand when i'm in the deepest and darkest pit. A million thanks is not sufficient to show u my gratitude.
But your name has been engraved in my heart. And i'll remember.

My message box is alive..!!!!!!!!!!!

Tag-board -------> Cbox.. (Appluase... Clap..clap... )

Finally, i should say. After weeks of dead tagboard, i went searching for new message box that is workable on my com. My hero: Cbox.

Well. as i just started using it for a few days, i dont really know how good it is. The first impression i have is that: more choice of background colour, font, smilies. Last of all it works..... Unlike that idiotic tag-board which failed on me after my loyal usage for 1.5 years..... so to those of u out there who are sick & tired of the boring and problematic tag-board. Do try out Cbox.

One little favour to ask from my readers: Can u guys try to tag on the new cbox and see if it's working?

Hmmm... School is starting in 2 weeks time... Time really fly.... Months ago, i was telling myself : Cool.. 3 whole mths of holiday... should make full use of it to replenish myself, do some catching up with my old pals, and enjoy myself..... Well, as i evaluate my holiday, i have practically wasted the first mth due to the tuition hactic (students preparing for MYE). I only managed to enjoy myself from the 2nd mth onwards. i did lots of shopping(spend the money that wasnt spend during my examination week), went for 4E1 class gathering (most "on" class cos almost all turn up for the gathering despite our busy schedule), met up with my ex employer, Mr and Mrs Song n my ex students, Yi hui and Yan Han, met up with Vanessa, my pri sch classmate whom i hed not met for 4 years and i went swimming with Char every alternate weeks(except "that" week). I did meet up with Suling, my old buddy twice this holiday, but its kind of not enough.. did really get to talk to her much during each meet up... really miss the time we had together. It hard to maintain a 10 years friendship... i dont want to weaken our bonds due to our busy life... Really have to meet her up b4 my schol starts. Just me and Suling.

So Suling if u read my blog, pls msg me when we can meet up agin k?

Gtg.... Off to play CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. 3 Dimension of murder. On my last case now.

hi guys.. i did receive some tags from u guys after my last post.

THere is still something wrong with my tagboard??!?!?!?!?

Whenever i want to tag on my own tagboard, there is this "Error on page" shown at the bottom of my webpage. I tried to tag using my laptop and desktop, but the same problem occured. The funny thing is that i'm able to tag on others tagboardsbut not on my own. And u guys are able to tag on my tagboard...????!!!!

Does anyone of u faced the same problem b4 and noe a way to mend this problem? Pls tag me if u have the solution. Thanks alot.

I'm wondering if anyone really read my blog.... i'm kinda of missing the tag messages that u guys leave me...... I mean this blog is kind of communication tool. Anyway, can some one just tag me? Just wanna test if it is still working... haha... i sound desperate....

Anyway, i went to Bras Basar Complex yesterday to look for my textbooks for the next Semester (3 weeks away). I used to visit KNowledge Bookstore to purchase my 2nd hand textbooks. Years ago they onli had one stall on level 3. Gradually, they expanded to 2 shops, then 3 shops, then finally 4 shops!!!!!!!!!! (When i visited it 3mths ago) But i think they couldnt manage so many shops and end up selling to some other ppl (I'm guessing they are relatives... cos they looked alike. well all Indians look the same to me... ) Now Knowledge bookstore is left with one shop whlie the remaining 3 is named BOOKPOINT.

Since BOOKPOINT has 3 shops(expected to have wider range of books), i decided to search for my textbooks there. the storekeeper are very friendly and helpful. The moment i stepped into the shop, they came forward asking if i needed any help. All i need is the pass them the book list and they would "dig" out the books that i need. Being a second hand bookstore, dont expect to find all the books u want there. They manage to fing 3 books out of the 6 books i wanted.... Althought some were of earlier edition. Most of their University textbooks are in good condition, selling onli 50% of the original price.
But one good advice: avoid getting textbooks with "medicine or medical" on their title cos it's lot more expensive ... One of my text book was BIOMATERIAL SCIENCE- AN INTRODUCTION TO MATERIALS IN MEDICINE. They are selling it at $80!!!!!!!! Maybe they have this bias thought that medical textboooks are more expensive so they jacked up the price.

At the end of the day, i requested them to reserve the books for me for 3 days while i try to confirm with the lecturers if it's necessary to buy the textbooks. Most prbably to buy the textbook on the electronics which cost $32. Ther are questions in the book for me to practice on and i'm not vert farmilar with electronics. I think my brother can also use that book cos he's taking aerospace electronics in poly. Shall make my way down later to purchase that book.... Give up on the rest cos no questions in the books and just chucks of boring texts, which i dont think i'll read.... haha.. lazy me

Cockroachphobia.............

A huge cockroach Attacked me and my cousin (ena) last night when we were watching CSI.

Initially i heard some fluttering sound in the living room, went full alert to look out for the "intrudator". At the corner of my eye, i saw this Huge Cockroach flying about less than a meter above my head!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off we went running for our lives (Ena thought it was a moth, i insisted that was a cockroach).... Armed with the folded newspaper, my mum went chasing after the stupid "intrudator". First my mum smacked it with her "weapon", causing it to lost its sense of direction, hiding in the dark.

Thought that it's safe, we went back to our seat (actually squezzing together at one corner of the sofa-- afraid it may attack us again). Peace for less than 5 minutes, the intrudator attacked again.!!!!!!!!!> (I wouldnt feel safe as long as the cockroach is still free, roaming about in my house.)

This time round i spotted it, resting on the sliding door. Now i had a really good look at it. 4cm long, with feelers longer than its body, dark brown in colour with firm and stong legs. ARHHHH......

Me and ena headed to the kitchen while my mum "battled" with the intrudator again. They had a fierce fight. My mum with her folded newspaper and the cockroach with its strong wings. Half way through the battle, the cockroach decided to change its target TO ME......!!!!!!!!! The moment i saw it flying towards me, i screamed, bent my body and ran to safer ground. My mum have not given up on the fight, following behind the cockroach. Finally one last smack, the cockroach was defeated.... HAHAHAHA..... With her swift hands, my mum dumped the cockroach into a transparent plastic bag and tied dead knots. Showing us her victory item, my mum commented: "U are many times bigger than the cockroach and yet you are afraid of it."
Well, this statement may be true but it has wings which i'm not equipped with.

SIZE DOESNT MEAN POWER .

With the intrudator captured in the bag, i'm no longer afraid of it. Now, it's my turn to torture it back(physically). A pay back for its mental torture on me..... HAHAHA (evil me)
At the end of the day, the punishement for the "intrudator" was to be crashed to death under my mum's slippers.

I'M FREAKY MAD WITH MY SCH'S SUBJECT REGISTRATION SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wAT THE hELL IS WRONG WITH IT?!!!!!

tHE REGISTRATION STARTed AT 9.30AM. When i logged on at 10am, almost half of my planned modules had NO MORE VACANAY........ i'm like WAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!..... I took so so so so long to plan my time table and now it's all down the drain after 30 min!!!!!

Thinking of changing my timetable tonite when it opens at 5pm. I promise i will not be late again... I SWEAR.........

This registeration thingy really BOILS MY BLOOD...... If i make changes tonite, the timetable won't be finalise yet cos of the stupid PE/GE which is still on waiting list... Moreover, the waiting list is darm long.... The waiting list is like 3 or 4 time its available vancany... If i cant get wat i put on waiting list, i got to choice a new PE OR GE and change my core subject timing to suit the new PE/GE.....

I Hate THE SYSTEM............. The more i look at my MESSED UP timetable, the More i wanna Smashed the COm......... ARRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...!!!!!!!!!!

ps. sorry for the language used in this post... I'm just trying to vent my frustration.... hope u understand....
